Colocation Services - Our colocation
customers can take advantage of the same
technical support as a managed dedicated
hosting customers if they so choose. This
ranges from large tasks such as system installation,
configuration, and tuning, to minute routine
tasks such as managing Apache configurations,
adding domains, or performing maintenance
on a server. The extent to which a client
decides to utilize tech support is left
entirely to their discretion. Colocation
customers who prefer privacy and performing
their own tech work can also choose to disallow
all access to the server.
Colocation Infrastructure
- Since colocated servers are placed
in the same facility as our own managed
dedicated servers we require that colocation
servers meet standard requirements, such
as fitting the usual U form factor so that
they can be racked. Servers are connected
to our Cisco switches and routed along side
the rest of our machines. Colocated customers
enjoy the same bandwidth and redundancy
as our dedicated server customers.
